Setting to Automatically Mark All New Assets as Compliance Assets
Info
A new Compliance module setting ensures all newly created assets are automatically marked as compliance-applicable, making the Compliance tab immediately visible and simplifying the interface by hiding the separate Compliance Assets menu.
As an admin/ compliance officer
I want all new assets to automatically be marked as compliance relevant and immediately show the compliance tab
So that users don’t have to manually configure each asset and can work more efficiently with fewer errors.
Benefits
Reduces manual configuration steps during asset creation, increasing accuracy and saving setup time.
Simplifies the UI for compliance-focused customers by hiding redundant navigation options.
Info
Access to the general Assets menu is still controlled via the system groups View Assets and Edit Assets. If existing compliance users need to access assets via the default navigation, they will now also require the View Assets system group.
