Asset for key users
Share key objects like buildings and assets with connected applications in just a few clicks
Info
A new "Linked applications" tab has been added to key objects in Asset (including buildings, areas, assets, cost centers, service types, and more). From this tab, users can directly link objects to available API connectors and view an overview of existing connections, including connector status, link creation date, and the user who created the link.
As a user with the appropriate access rights
I want to link objects to API connectors directly from the object itself
So that I can manage integrations more efficiently without navigating away from the object
Benefits
Direct connector linking from within the object: no separate navigation needed
Clear overview of existing connections per object, including status and audit details
Role-based visibility ensures users only see what is relevant to them

Clearer visual indicators for deleted objects
Info
It is now easier to identify when an object is in the bin. A "Deleted" label is shown in the page header of the relevant object, and any field referencing a deleted object is now displayed in red, to help users spot broken or outdated relations before they become a problem.
As a user
I want to clearly see when an object is deleted
So that I can identify and resolve outdated references before they cause issues
Benefits
Quickly spot deleted objects without having to dig into details
Easily identify fields that reference removed objects before they cause issues
Reduces the risk of working with incomplete or broken data

Admin for system administrators
External apps renamed to API Connectors for clarity
Info
The term "External apps" has been renamed to "API Connectors" throughout Asset. The new name better reflects the actual purpose of these components — setting up integrations with other applications, including authentication and integration configuration.
As an administrator
I want the terminology in the application to clearly reflect what each component does
So that I can find and configure integrations without confusion
Benefits
Clearer, more descriptive naming for integration components
Reduces confusion when setting up or managing integrations
Consistent terminology throughout the application

Manage all integrations from one central location
Info
A new Integrations landing page is now available via the administrator startboard and navigation menu. It replaces the previously scattered integration settings — spread across button bars, module settings, and separate menu options — bringing everything together in one place. Each active integration has its own dedicated sub-page with consolidated settings, error overviews, event logs, and a direct link to the relevant knowledge base article.
As an administrator
I want a single place to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot all integrations
So that I no longer have to navigate across multiple locations to find integration settings
Benefits
All integration settings consolidated in one central location
Quick access to recent errors and event logs per integration
Direct links to knowledge base articles for each integration
Replaces scattered settings across button bars and module tabs
Foundation for further integration management improvements in future releases

Keep self-service startboards logged in automatically
Info
A new setup wizard on the system user's "Settings" tab allows administrators to configure a device to automatically re-login after a session timeout. This is especially useful for kiosk like self-service setups, such as the visitor self-registration startboard introduced in the previous release, where automatic logout would disrupt the experience.
As an administrator
I want to configure a device to automatically re-login after a session timeout
So that kiosk and self-service screens stay available without manual intervention
Benefits
No more disruptions due to session timeouts on kiosk or self-service screens
Works seamlessly with the visitor self-registration startboard
Easy to set up via a guided wizard
Devices can be remotely deregistered by an administrator when needed
