Studio | Import devices using just one location ID The device import process has been simplified to use a single “location ID” column, which now accepts a Room ID, Workplace ID, or Parking ID. The separate “workplace ID” column is no longer supported. This update reduces manual work for admins, eliminates the need to create virtual rooms, and results in cleaner, more accurate import files. Please note that using old import files with a “workplace ID” column will cause errors—make sure to use the latest device import templates.
Studio | Enhanced sensor health notifications We’ve improved the Sensor Health Notification emails to make them clearer, more actionable, and easier to interpret at a glance. What’s changed:
These improvements help ensure sensor health notifications are more complete, easier to understand, and better aligned with what is shown in Studio.
GO Workplace app | Crowdedness API improvements With Crowdedness API the response times have been improved for crowdedness data on large floor plans, resulting in smoother navigation and faster loading in high-usage environments. In the Workplace app, we’ve removed redundant API calls to streamline performance and reduce unnecessary data usage. This optimization leads to a faster, more responsive app experience. Additionally, we’ve cleaned up the device control settings by removing legacy options such as Crowdedness and “Least occupied floor,” simplifying the interface and making settings easier to manage.
Platform | Enhances automation rule for “Confirm upcoming reservation” The No-Show confirmation link now behaves differently depending on when it is accessed:
| |
GO Workplace app Kiosk | Enhanced primary color for accessibility We’ve updated our primary color to improve accessibility and ensure compliance with international standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). This change enhances contrast across the platform, making text, buttons, and links clearer and easier to read, especially for users with visual impairments. By increasing visual clarity in both bright and low-light environments, this update supports a more inclusive and comfortable user experience for everyone.
Workplace app | Support for AM/PM format in Workplace app Previously the application displayed all time values strictly in a 24-hour format, regardless of the time format configured on the user’s device, browser, or regional settings. This often resulted in a mismatch between user expectations and the in-app experience, particularly for users accustomed to the 12-hour (AM/PM) format. With this enhancement, the application now automatically detects and applies the time format configured on the user’s device or browser. If the device is set to a 12-hour format, time is displayed with AM/PM; if set to a 24-hour format, time is shown accordingly. This behavior is applied consistently across the application and adapts dynamically to system changes, and requires no manual configuration within the app.
Mini Display | Mini Display - Support for occupancy modes and multi-language The Mini Display (TD-0360) has been significantly upgraded to provide a smarter and more flexible experience in meeting room management. It now supports following modes:
The system will automatically detect which mode is applicable depending on the use of sensor data and reservation enablement Additionally, we have adde multi-language support. The displayed language now follows the tenant’s regional settings configured in Studio. |
Bugs
Key | Touchpoint | Release note |
Platform | Google Cloud Platform outage Several users have faced issues with login and few users complained about total application slowness. This has happened due to the global outage of GCP platform. All Workplace services recovered automatically after the issue was resolved on Google’s side.
GO | Calendar view in GO takes too long to load With the latest fix the calendar view has been optimized to significantly improve data loading times. Previously, users experienced delays when loading reservation data or switching between locations. With this enhancement, the calendar now loads data more efficiently, providing a smoother and faster experience. This performance improvement ensures quicker access to reservation details, even when navigating across different locations.
GO | Profile picture not synced to GO We’ve resolved an issue where user profile pictures were not appearing under "View by people" on the live floorplan in GO. Images now sync correctly and are visible as expected across all relevant views.
GO | Calendar view drag & drop issue We have fixed an issue in the Calendar view where the reservation details popup did not appear after adjusting the end time using drag and drop. The popup now displays correctly with the updated start and end times after resizing the reservation.
GO | False “No Occupancy” email triggered An issue was identified where emails indicating no occupancy were sent even though the sensor had detected occupancy. This happened due to insufficient CPU capacity allocated to the automation rule engine, which impacted rule processing. Now the infrastructure has been scaled up to restore stable processing and being monitered constantly
GO | Auto cancellation of room even after mail confirmation An issue was identified where confirmed room reservations were incorrectly cancelled by the automation rule engine after a period of detected inactivity, even when the user had completed the 24-hour email confirmation. The automation logic has now been fixed to ensure that confirmed reservations are no longer cancelled due to temporary inactivity, preventing unintended release of rooms.
GO | New password creation issue An issue was identified in GO where users were unable to reset their password via the Forgot Username or Password option, resulting in errors such as “cannot reset user’s password” or “cannot save user password” after entering the verification code and new password. This issue has now been fixed, and users can successfully create and save a new password during the password reset flow.
GO | Calendar view loading issue when switching location It was observed that the Calendar view displayed a white screen when switching between locations. The issue was identified as a UI rendering problem and has been fixed. The Calendar view now loads data correctly and smoothly, without any lag or white screen.
Workplace app | Workplace app crash issue An issue was identified where the Workplace app crashed when navigating to My Reservations or when enabling Upcoming Events in Device Control, caused by recurring reservations. This issue has now been fixed, and the app no longer crashes during these actions.
Workplace app | Dark/ light mode: wrong font color We fixed an issue where the iOS date picker did not always apply the correct light or dark theme after force quitting and reopening the app, resulting in incorrect font colors. The app now explicitly sets the interface style (system default, light, or dark) during startup, ensuring consistent date picker styling across app launches.
Workplace app | Recurring reservations problem We fixed an issue where users without the required permissions were still able to access the "Make recurring" option while creating reservations. This behavior was inconsistent with other touchpoints that correctly hide the option based on role permissions set in Studio. With this fix, the Workplace app now fully respects the permission, ensuring that only authorized users can create recurring reservations.
Kiosk app | Improved Kiosk interaction handling We fixed an issue where the floor display would automatically switch back to the default floor even while users were actively interacting with the kiosk, such as zooming or selecting resources. With this fix, the carousel now correctly identifies user activity and only switches floors after true inactivity. |
