Kiosk 4G Router RUT241 Installation

Difficulty: expert

Learning Objectives

After reading this article, you’ll be able to:

  • Prepare the cabling
  • Install your 4G router

Take a look at the Checklist hardware on-site visit or installation to make sure that you have all the needed tools on hand.

Hardware Requirements

Depending on the size of the kiosk and if it’s mounted on a pole or installed on the wall, 2-3 power sockets are required:

  • 22” 4G kiosk needs 1 power socket: The screen, the PC (QBIC backpack) and the router are powered independently over DC power, but the package includes a power strip so all cabling can be nicely tucked away in the pole.
  • 32” and 55” kiosks needs 3 power sockets, as the screen, the PC and the router are powered independently over DC power, so foresee 3 power sockets.
