Introduction
Space Management for Workplace is a web-based application designed to help organizations manage their physical work environments. It provides a single, structured place to define, organize, and maintain information about all the locations across a real estate portfolio — from broad geographic regions down to individual spaces and workstations.
What the application does
At its core, the application lets you build a location hierarchy that reflects how your organization's physical spaces are structured. You can set up Regions, Sites, Buildings, Floors, Spaces, and Subspaces, and enrich each with attributes, amenities, attachments, and floor plans.
Beyond just storing location data, the application supports:
- Floor plan management — Import CAD drawings, create interactive layouts, and visually link spaces to floor plan shapes.
- Allocations — Track how spaces and subspaces are allocated, with a full history of changes over time.
- Custom configuration — Define your own location types, space types, custom attributes, and amenities to match your organization's specific needs.
- Bulk import and export — Load large volumes of location data efficiently using spreadsheet-based imports, and export data for reporting or integration purposes.
- Role-based access control — Control what each user can see and do through a flexible permissions system built on roles.
