Takeoff Sheets

A takeoff sheet allows you to substantiate the quantity at component level.
To view the takeoff sheet for a component, click the Takeoff Sheets tab.

Once a takeoff sheet has been created, an icon appears in the component quantity field. This indicates that the component quantity has been calculated. The quantity can no longer be adjusted manually in the components screen.

The icons shown in the red frame are described below. You can find the explanation of the other icons under Overview of the Icons

Add takeoff sheet line

The quantity of a component can be substantiated by a takeoff sheet. You can add an unlimited number of lines to the takeoff sheet.
A line can be added in 3 ways:

  1. Add a new line
  1. Import a line
  1. Copy a line

Select the relevant component and go to the Takeoff Sheet tab

Clicking the  Add takeoff sheet icon displays the line where you can enter the values

Meaning of the fields:

The fields in the takeoff sheet have the following meanings:

Line number
By numbering the lines, you can determine the order of the takeoff sheet yourself.

Drawing
The reference of the architectural drawing/source file can be entered in this field.

Description
The description of the takeoff sheet line can be entered in this field. For example, “left façade”, “Storage” etc.

Number
This value is included in the calculation. For example, you could have a Window Type A that is 4 m wide and 2 m high, and that occurs 5 times in the component under consideration. You then enter 5 under number. For installation-related components, you can enter the number of units per line under number.

Factor
A quantity can be multiplied by a factor. Example: You have a house with a gable roof, so you can calculate the gable wall (a triangle) by entering the length and height and entering 0.5 under Factor. You have then calculated the triangle. If the value in the Factor field is “0”, this line is not included in the calculation.

Length
The length for the takeoff sheet line. Make sure that the result of the line corresponds to the unit of the component.

Width
The width for the takeoff sheet line. Make sure that the result of the line corresponds to the unit of the component.

Height
The width for the takeoff sheet line. Make sure that the result of the line corresponds to the unit of the component.

Total
This is the calculated total of a takeoff line. If no value has been entered in the line, the total will of course be '0'. This total is then calculated 'upwards' and will adjust the 'quantity' field of the selected component.

House type
The ‘House type’ field is used to assign a type to a number of houses. For example, Mid-terrace house and End-of-terrace house.  An end-of-terrace house has more m2 of brickwork than a mid-terrace house.

Number of houses
The ‘Number of houses’ field is used to show the number of houses of the specified type. You can easily see how many houses of a particular type are part of your property portfolio. Changes in numbers, for example due to sales, can easily be implemented all at once by adjusting the number

image-20250812-114933.png Import takeoff sheet

This functionality allows you to import one or more lines from an object of your choice

When you click this, the following screen appears

image-20250812-115041.png

You will then see an overview of all takeoff lines for the object you are currently working in.

You can select one or more lines here and then choose Save. These lines will then be added

You can also choose to import the lines in reverse. This functionality places the value as a negative value in the takeoff sheet. Example: You calculate your net brickwork surface by entering length x height and subtract the surface area of the façade openings (which have been created as windows in the takeoff sheet lines). If you want the net surface area of your brickwork, first select that component. Then choose to import the takeoff sheet, select the lines for the exterior wall opening, select the option to import in reverse, and then click Save. The value of the exterior wall openings is shown as a negative value so that the total brickwork is shown net.

You can also import takeoff sheets from another object.

By selecting Objects in the top-right corner of the screen, you will see an overview of the objects in the maintenance planning. You can then select the object that contains the desired takeoff sheets.

This functionality provides an overview of the takeoff sheet lines for all components of the selected object/objects.

You can make changes to the takeoff sheet lines here, such as number, width, height, etc.

You can copy lines by clicking the Copy icon

You can export the overview to Excel or a PDF file.
