Export Excel file

You have the option to add, delete and/or modify objects, building components, actions and findings outside Maintenance Planning. This starts with creating an export of an Excel file.

Select the object or objects and click the “Export Excel file” icon. The following screen appears.

You now have 3 options, namely:

·        Excel Template

·        Export All

·        Export selection

The first 2 options are independent of the object selection in the object explorer.

Excel Template

This generates an Excel file template that is completely blank. You can use/provide this template to parties that do not have Maintenance Planning. They can then enter the initial measurement in it. You can find the template in your explorer under downloads.

The Excel file is an empty file containing, divided over 4 tabs, the field names available within the programme. The tabs are:

Objects

Building components

Action

Finding

EXPORT All

This generates an Excel file export of all objects in the selected folder of the project explorer.
