This page describes the steps to set up the Space Management integration in Asset, the Space Management application and Integration Platform.
This document is for Spacewell consultants.
1. Prerequisites
- Asset: buildings and areas module must be activated in Asset, see chapter “Asset configuration” below
- You need Space Mgt Module to be enabled in Workplace. Spacewell Consultant to:
request a Workplace tenant (https://spacewell.zendesk.com)
- if a Workplace tenant is available already, request the Space Mgt module to be enabled (https://spacewell.zendesk.com)
- You need an Integration Platform tenant and login credentials to configure the Space Management integration, see chapter “Integration Platform configuration” below
2. Asset configuration: Module activation
Activate the Space Management integration via the module activation: Space Management integration module activation and information
3. Space Management configuration
For detailed information regarding setting up the Space Management application, see: Space Management Application
4. Integration Platform configuration
The Space Management application communicates with Asset through the Integration Platform. This means a tenant needs to be set up on the Integration Platform, which needs to be linked to the customer Asset environment.
Log in to the Integration Platform via https://integration.spacewell.com/ and select the tenant.

Integration Platform is only available for Spacewell consultants.
For partners: the steps below are handled by Spacewell once the previous steps are completed.

4.1 Create Asset connector
Note
Remember, Space Management integration needs to be activated via the module activation in Asset before you can proceed with the following steps
Go to Space sync > Connectors. In Actions, select “Add” to create a new connector:
Select type AXXERION and enter following information:

Where to find the required information in Asset
- appId (Integrations > Space Management > Space Management connectors)
- connectorReference (Integrations > Space Management > Space Management connectors > FTP Connector > Related > Reference)
- encryptionKey (Integrations > Space Management > Space Management connectors > Trust relations > Access ID)
- name (Client settings)
- presharedKey (Integrations > Space Management > Space Management connectors > Trust relations > Key > Reveal secret key)
Click Add to confirm.
4.2 Create Space connector
Note
Remember, Space Mgt module needs to be enabled in Workplace before you can proceed with the following step
Go to Space sync → Connectors:
Click on Actions → + Add to create a new connector:
Select the type SPACE:
All the required credentials are automatically populated in the connector.
Click Add new to confirm.
