  1. Make sure to check the Cable Connection side first. Define on which side the cable needs to be available and check if you need to guide it along the back of the device to make it look sleek.
  2. Make sure to install the Bracket Mount in the correct direction:

    1. small opening (that fits the back LED light) to the top

    2. larger opening (allowing for the cables) to the bottom

Preparing the device to configure the app

Step 1: Power the device

The device will launch automatically after connecting it to a power supply.

The device does not have a fixed battery; therefore, it is important to maintain a stable power supply.

Step 2: Connect to the network

The wireless network can be configured via the device home screen > Wi-Fi.

Info

On the device home screen, the count down timer will start running (20 seconds) and open the app. Make sure to “cancel” if you want to take your time before the app starts.

In case your device seems to be stuck in the booting process, you will need to reset the device: there is a hole labelled "reset" at the back. Power on the device and push a paperclip for 10 seconds in the reset hole (you should feel a click when pushing the reset button).

Step 3: Configure the app using Spacewell Device Control

You have now successfully installed the Qbic Mini Display.

In order to further configure the device and the Mini Display app, follow the instructions on Installing the Mini Display app
