AXX-8363 | Asset App integration – Option to retry fetching a form submission: On the “Technical details” tab of a work order, a new option has been added to retry fetching a form submission from the Asset App. This option is only shown when a dispatch ID is set but no work order document has been received yet. This simplifies the process of recovering from cases where a submission was not successfully processed when the dispatch got submitted from the Asset App. |
AXX-7383 | Asset App integration – Retracting or cancelling a dispatched work order now supported: It is now possible to retract or cancel a work order that has already been dispatched to the Asset App. Previously, this was not allowed for work orders with an active dispatch. When a dispatched work order is retracted or cancelled in Asset, the cancellation is automatically sent to the Asset App, ensuring the dispatch is also cancelled on that side. |
AXX-8586 | Buildings – Building area and Land area fields hidden on Geographical area category: On the “Geographical area” building category, the Building area and Land area fields have been hidden, as these fields are not considered relevant at this level. |
AXX-4821 | Integrations – New 'Linked applications' tab added to objects for easier connector linking: A new “Linked applications” tab has been added to the following objects, visible to the indicated user roles:
From this tab, objects can be linked to an available API connector directly. For each relevant connector, a button is shown to add the object — for example, “Workplace +”. The tab also shows an overview of the API connectors the object is already linked to, including details such as whether the connector is active, when the link was created, and by whom. Opening the API connector itself from this overview is restricted to administrators. The tab is only shown to key users for connectors where linking an object has a direct effect in the other application (for example, when adding service types to Workplace). For connectors that require additional configuration on the other side — such as mapping rooms in the Integration Platform for a calendar integration with Outlook — the tab is only visible to administrators, to avoid confusion when actions in Asset are not immediately reflected in the other application. The tab on an object is only shown when at least one relevant API connector is available in the client layer. |
AXX-8395 | Reservations – Improved default reservation type assignment for reservations created via Workplace or an external calendar: When a reservation is created via Workplace or an external calendar (e.g. Outlook), the reservation type is now determined more accurately. Previously, only the exact category of the reserved object was checked, meaning that objects belonging to a child category could fall back to an incorrect default reservation type. The system now also considers child categories when determining the correct reservation type, ensuring a more accurate automatic assignment. |
AXX-7357 | User interface – Contrast and readability improvements: To further comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the contrast of various icons and placeholder texts has been improved. This includes field-related icons such as the paperclip icon for document uploads, as well as other icons such as pagination controls, favourites, and list expand icons. These are now displayed darker to meet contrast requirements. In addition, the row outline in list overviews has been made more prominent, making lists easier to read and bringing the look and feel closer to the Spacewell product design. |
AXX-5961 | User interface – Improved visual indication when an object is in the bin or archive: It is now more clearly indicated when an object is in the bin or archive. The following improvements have been made:
|
AXX-8086 | User interface – Keyboard navigation support added for announcements and document card strips: To further comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), keyboard navigation support has been added for announcements and document card strips. |
AXX-6309 | User interface – Text editors updated for improved security compliance: The Wiki editor, HTML editor, and script editor have been updated to a modern library to address security compliance requirements. The functionality, and look and feel are kept as close as possible to the previous editors, with no functionality intentionally removed. |
AXX-8298 | Visitor management – Visitor creation no longer blocked when default building does not allow visitor registration: An issue has been resolved where users with a default building location that does not allow visitor registration were unable to create a visitor at all. Previously, the system would immediately return an error when the user's default location was applied, preventing the user from selecting a different building. The system now skips setting the default building location when visitor registration is not allowed for that building, allowing the user to proceed and select an eligible building instead. |
AXX-8342 | Administrators – Actual numbers now shown in the License use overview: The “License use” graph on the administrator startboard now displays the actual numbers of available and used licenses directly in the graph. This improves readability in situations where one license type has a significantly higher number than others, making the graph otherwise difficult to interpret. By default, both the available and used values are shown. If there is insufficient space to display both, only the available count is shown, as this is considered the most relevant information. Individual values can be toggled by clicking the corresponding label in the graph. |
AXX-8152 | Administrators – Automatic re-login option for kiosk and self-service setups: A new setup wizard has been added on the “Settings” tab of a system user. This wizard configures the current browser to automatically re-login as that user whenever the session expires. This is useful for kiosk or self-service setups — for example, a dedicated screen for visitor self-registration — where automatic logout after inactivity is disruptive. Once configured, the device will automatically log back in after a session timeout, without requiring manual intervention. To disable this behaviour, an administrator can remove the device registration from the list of active devices on the “Settings” tab of the user, using a different browser or device. |
AXX-8581 | Administrators – Cache configurations overview on Workplace API Connector now shows active configurations by default: On the “Cache Configurations” overview within the Workplace API Connector, only active cache configurations are now shown by default. A button has been added to also view inactive cache configurations, which opens in a separate overview. This keeps the default view clean and focused on relevant configurations, while still allowing administrators to access inactive entries when needed. |
AXX-8365 | Administrators – Description field added to import connectors: A “Description” field has been added to import connectors, allowing administrators to add a general description for each connector. This makes it easier to document the purpose or details of custom import connectors. |
AXX-8366 | Administrators – Default descriptions added to generated import connectors: Import connectors that are automatically generated now include a default description explaining the purpose of each connector. This description is visible both in the list of import connectors and on the individual connector page. Note: Default descriptions are only added to newly generated import connectors. To apply them to existing connectors, the existing connectors can be removed and regenerated via the list of default import connectors |
AXX-8613 | Administrators – 'External apps' renamed to 'API Connectors': The term “External apps” has been renamed to “API Connectors” throughout the application. API Connectors are used to set up integrations with other applications, handling authentication and other integration-related configuration. The new name better reflects this purpose. |
AXX-8026 | Administrators – 'Hide user info' setting added to user profile configuration: A new setting, "Hide user info", has been added to user profile configurations. When enabled, the username in the top right corner of the application is no longer shown. This is particularly useful for kiosk setups, where displaying user profile information and options is not desired. |
AXX-8396 | Administrators – Last compute date added to Cache Configuration Items on Workplace API Connector: On the “Cache Configurations” overview within the Workplace API Connector, a Last compute date field has been added to each Cache Configuration Item. This field shows when the active cache for that item was last calculated, making it easier to determine whether a manual cache refresh is needed or whether changes should already be reflected in the results. |
AXX-7547 | Administrators – New Integrations landing page: A new Integrations landing page has been added, accessible via the administrator startboard and the navigation menu. This replaces the previously scattered integration-related settings and options, which were spread across dedicated button bars, module settings, and separate navigation menu options such as Web services. From the Integrations landing page, administrators can find general integration settings as well as a dedicated sub-page per active integration. Each sub-page consolidates the relevant settings and options for that integration, replacing the previous integration-specific module settings tabs. The landing page also provides an overview of recent errors and the option to search through event logs per integration, making it easier to monitor and troubleshoot integrations from a single location. Additionally, each integration sub-page includes a direct link to the relevant knowledge base article, making documentation easily accessible in the right context. In future releases, additional integration-related information and options will be added to this landing page. |
AXX-7550 | Administrators – Non-admin users can now be set as authorised system user in trust relations for custom API Connectors: For custom API Connectors, it is now possible to set a non-admin user as the authorised system user in a trust relation. Previously, only admin users could be selected for this purpose. This allows for a more secure setup, as the API user can be assigned only the specific access rights required for the integration, without needing full admin rights. |
AXX-8429 | Administrators – Warnings added when bulk field updates or function executions are not successful: When using the Update Fields or Execute Function action on a list of selected objects, the system now shows a warning when an action could not be performed for one or more objects. For each affected object, the reason is displayed in a warning panel — for example, when the user does not have the required access rights to update a field, or when the selected function is not available for a specific object. Previously, no feedback was given in these cases, requiring administrators to manually verify whether the action had been applied successfully. |
AXX-7866 | Customization administrators – Count function added to scripts: A new count function has been added to the scripting engine. This function returns the number of objects matching a given filter as an integer, without retrieving the objects themselves. This can significantly improve script performance in cases where only the count is needed. The function supports filtering on fields and, like the find function, always takes the client into account and excludes objects in the bin by default. Usage example:
With a filter:
The count function is often many times faster than performing a regular find. |
AXX-8268 | Customization administrators – Regime field added to Contact: A “Regime” field has been added directly to the “Contact” object. By default, this field does not contain any business logic. In the Asset baseline, this field will be used to specify work hours for a supplier as part of the upcoming supplier SLA functionality, planned for a future release. |
AXX-7461 | Customization administrators – Regime field added to workflow cases for SLA calculations: A “Regime” field has been added to the “WorkflowCase” object. This field can be used to calculate Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines on both requests and work orders. For requests, the existing request.regimeId field takes priority. The workflow case regime is only used when no regime is set on the request itself. In the Asset Baseline, this field will be used as part of the upcoming supplier SLA functionality, planned for a future release. |
AXX-8255 | IFC import support removed: IFC file import functionality, including automatic creation of areas based on IFC data, is no longer available in Asset. This change has been made due to security considerations and to ensure compliance with current and upcoming cybersecurity requirements, including the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Customers who still need to process IFC data can use an external tool to convert IFC files into CSV format. These CSV files can then be imported into Asset using import mapping FM-0030. Please note that this mapping has limited out-of-the-box capabilities but can be adapted to specific customer needs where required. |
Bugs
Key | Release note |
|---|---|
AXX-8291 | Documents – Clicking an image to open the preview has been restored: An issue has been resolved where clicking directly on an image in the Documents section no longer opened the enlarged preview. This affected image files specifically — previewing other document types such as PDF or Word was not impacted. Clicking directly on an image now correctly opens the preview again, as before. |
AXX-8201 | Documents – Date filter when exporting linked PDFs now returns correct results: An issue has been resolved where using a date filter when exporting linked PDF documents would incorrectly return no results, even when matching documents existed. Exporting without a date filter was not affected. The date filter now correctly includes all matching documents. This fix applies to all export scenarios where linked PDFs can be exported, such as exporting generated contract indexation letters. |
AXX-8277 | Documents – Generating a PDF with attachments resolved: An issue has been resolved where using the "Generate PDF with attachments" option to merge multiple documents into a single PDF would result in an error. Generating a regular PDF without attachments was not affected. The merging of multiple documents into a single PDF now works correctly. |
AXX-8252 | Reservations – Correct pricing fields now shown when adding catering or services to a reservation: An issue has been resolved where the catering and services overview, shown when adding items to an existing reservation, displayed fields from an unused pricing object, resulting in empty price, unit, and per fields. The overview now correctly shows the price from the catalog item or linked reservable pricing, consistent with the reservation wizard. The Per and Unit fields have been removed from this overview. |
AXX-8284 | Administrators – Security error when pressing Enter to confirm password for revealing a secret key resolved: An issue has been resolved where pressing Enter to confirm the password when revealing a secret key on the “Authentication” settings page would incorrectly trigger a security error. The password can now be confirmed by pressing Enter as expected. |
AXX-8350 | Administrators – Single Sign-On (SSO) setup on test environments resolved: An issue has been resolved where setting up SSO on a test environment would fail with an error. SSO can now be configured correctly on test environments. |
