The API rate limit applies to all calls made with the token shown in the “Access Token” app, since this token is internally the account’s x-dexcell-token (permanent token).
- Customers sometimes request to increase this limit when their processes hit the maximum number of allowed calls, for example: “I just ran our process, and the limit is still 1,000 calls. Please make the urgent correction, as our development has stopped due to this problem.”
Where to check the token used by the rate limit
- Go to the relevant account.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon.
- In the left panel, open the Access Token section.
- Copy the 20‑character API key shown there; this is the token subject to the rate limit.
Internal action (for Dexma team)
- If the customer requests a rate‑limit change, create a JIRA ticket for the INFRASTRUCTURE team and include:
- Account / Deployment ID.
- the Access Token value (20-character API key).
- and the new limit requested (10,000 calls/hour … 120,000 calls/day).
