  • Configure the Mini Display App through Device Control to run on a Qbic Mini Display

Prerequisites

  1. You’ll need both a Qbic TD-0360 device + a PC
  2. Both devices should be on the same network
  3. Create a device account (i.e. the device account that will be used to log into the Kiosk application) in Users and Groups
  4. Configure in Regional settings :

    1. Time Zone

    2. Language
    3. Time Format

Step 1 - 3 - Install & Launch the app

Step 4 - Configure the app

On the device, log in with the device account

You will have to provide the device account that has been configured in Users and Groups

Note

If your device account is already in use by another Mini Kiosk app, you will receive an error message. You’ll have to go to https://devicecontrol.cobundu.com/ and unlink the account used by the other kiosk.

Wait for the app to ask for a configuration

If this is the first time you use the device account, the app will launch and give an error. Don’t panic, this is completely normal The app is asking which location to load.

You’ll need your laptop for the next few steps.

Open device control to set up the new app

Go to https://devicecontrol.cobundu.com/ and log in with an admin account.

You should see you new device in the list with a label “not configured” on the right.

Select the device and press START CONFIGURATION

When you select the device, a panel will appear from the bottom. Click on Start configuration.

Select Room to be applied

Select “Default” region.

Select the location you want to see values for on the Mini Display.

You might need to go back to the device and tap 'retry'

Once you pressed RETRY (or wait a couple of minutes) the app will continue its configuration

Congratulations, you're ready!

Now you’re good to go!

Mini Display will automatically recognize if reservation data and/or occupancy data are available for the selected location and visualize that data:

  • reservation only
  • reservation-occupancy data
  • occupancy only
