Goal
Meters can be used to register the meter readings within a property. Meter readings can be generated automatically based on settings of the meter. Meter readings are used to gain insight into energy consumption.
Description
Users with the group "4. Meter reading Manager" (FMB-G019) have access to the "Meters" tab within a property. New (energy) meters can be created via this tab.
Meter readings can be generated automatically or entered manually per meter.
In addition, users with the group "4. Meter reading Manager" also have access to the "Meter readings to be filled in" menu option under the "Buildings" menu option in the navigation menu (FMBNavigationMenu).
This overview shows all "empty" meter readings, where no meter reading has yet been entered. This also includes all automatically generated meter readings, where the actual meter reading can be registered.

Configuration options
Settings to determine the automatic generation of meter readings can be found via the Property - Meters tab - Select a Meter - Generate automatically tab:
Setting | Options | Description |

Generate automatically | YES/NO | Turn automatic generation of meter readings on or off for the specific meter |
Start date | Date | Date for the first generated meter reading |
End date | Date | Date for the last generated meter reading |
Every | Intereger and Period | Select an interval in which the meter reading should be generated, for example every month |
Set value | YES/NO | The value of the meter can be initialized to the last meter reading plus an increment |
Value increment | Integer | The value used to generate the automatic meter reading, depends on setting 'Set value' |
