Master data objects such as Buildings, Areas, Asset, etc. can be exposed to other (external) applications. The master data objects need to be linked to the applicable API Connector in order to use the objects in the integration (e.g. Workplace, Maintenance Planning, Asset App, etc.
Next to linking objects directly from the API Connector, it is also possible to link an object to the API Connector from the object itself. Via the tab 'Linked applications', the object can be linked to the applicable API Connectors:
The ‘Link object to API Connector’ overview displays a button for each integration to which the object can be exposed. Once the object has been linked to an API Connector, the corresponding button is no longer shown and the integration is instead listed in the ‘API Connectors object is already linked to’ overview.
Removing the object from the API Connector makes the corresponding button available again, allowing the object to be linked to the integration once more.
